Landscaping

So, I have been getting all caught up in NaNoWriMo and while I love writing, I needed a little break from my novel.  I also decided to revive my blog for other non-NaNo appropriate writing.  So, I was really excited when I saw people talking about Chinz Curtain’s Euphoff contest on Twitter.  I thought I’d try my hand.  Short and sweet.

Enjoy!

I spread the blanket out over the grass. I didn’t want to get dirty down here in the mud. I lowered myself to the ground, feeling the coolness of the grass between me and the thin blanket. I let my hands slide downwards. They paused near the entrance of my love garden. The sweet fragrance wafted toward my nose. My fingers twitched in anticipation. Tentatively, I probed the entrance, feeling the sweet slickness. I picked up my tool – hard heavy steel – and inserted it into the soft fringes of my throbbing love tunnel and the world opened up to me. I slid it in and out, in and out. I moaned slightly, feeling the juices running over my fingers. I bucked, faster and faster and until I collapsed in a sweaty heap atop the blanket. I gave myself a moments rest, then picked up my things and walked a few feet. I repeated myself all afternoon until I heard footsteps come up behind me. I was exhausted, but elated.

“What are you doing, honey?” my husband asked.

“Oh, just pruning the rosebushes, dear.” I smiled, snipping off another dead rosebud.

This totally makes me want to throw my bad erotica trowel in the air. There’s nothing like a good bit of lady gardening, is there? 🙂

Thank you so much for taking part in the EuphOff, Cherrie. And what a lightening-fast turnaround, too. I’m super-impressed!

Thank you. I just channeled all the really icky romance novels I read as a teenager.
